Floyd wont fight manny, because as he puts it, manny wants a 50/50 split of the purse, ohh boohoo. what a prick, it should be 50/50 or even 60/40 in manny’s favour.
Why?
Because only the few dwindeling american fans want to see floyd, the rest of the world want to see manny, therefore he is the bigger revenue draw.
At best it should be 60/40 winner gets the bigger share.

I wouldn’t mind. In fact, this has been rumored. Marquez would recieve a cool million in exchange for stepping aside and letting the fight between Floyd and Pacquiao commence.

I have read about this paying Marquez a million to step aside. I don’t think Floyd should do it. He should fight Marquez as a warm up…because you don’t come out of a 20 month retirement and fight the best in the game. He should be Marquez which would add to the build up of a Floyd /Manny fight. They will both be P4P kings who both beat De La Hoya, Hatton and Marquez and now are going head to head to determine the real king of the ring. I know the meal every fan wants is Pacquiao/ Mayweather but this appetizer is pretty good too (any fan of the scientific side of boxing sees it as a dream match up).

I dont like Mayweather, but Mayweather will beat Marquez. I am one of the believers that Marquez is overrated. He never beat Pacquiao. Any real warrior will never be proud of winning by a point but Marquez given to the fact that he is a pusssy, he brags about winning. Mayweather is a better fighter. He has the speed, size, and strenght advantage. Plus Marquez has never improved, he has always been an inferior fighter to Pacquiao or Erik Morales. He was lucky that Mayweather picked him, so he should just step away and give the fans what they want, Pacquiao vs Mayweather. Nobody gives a damn about a piece of sht like Marquez who is overrated. Thank you Chris John for kicking his sorry ***! he deserves it for ducking Pacquiao!
